AGM (Association Group Management) was founded in 1964 as Charles Allen Associates. It is an established company which is home to specialist organisations and trade associations in the UK Building and Construction Industry, providing a wide range of professional services.

The AGM Team

The staff at AGM provide the full range of services required by a modern, forward looking trade body. The Principal John Fairley has many years’ experience in trade association administration and the construction industry. Since 1982 he has been responsible for the expansion of AGM to its present position.

Prior to joining the practice John had a wide ranging career in the Civil Service with appointments in the Highways Engineering Division, Ministry of Transport, setting up a major computer project and the Property Services Agency, where he worked closely with multi-discipline design and engineering teams.

Association House is fully manned from 9 to 5 daily. Each member of the team has individual responsibilities for the smooth running of all aspects of management, utilising the very latest equipment, including

• Web design and hosting
• Meeting and conference organisation
• Production of publications and the general day to day administration of the various organisations
